In the Davis lab we are dedicated to sharing our science and experience with as wide an audience as possible. As scientists we believe that research and scientific knowledge should be for everyone, so all of our public engagement activities are done on a voluntary basis and free of charge. All of our papers are also free to read, open access and can be found here. If you would like to arrange a visit from us to your school or public event please contact us.
In The Davis Lab we believe in working to inform and inspire students of all ages to enjoy the wonderful world of science. As part of this goal we work with the Biochemistry Department's Public Engagement with Research Committee (headed by Ilan) to do scientific demos, science fairs and talks in schools. We cater to students of all ages and there is no cost to your school as all expenses are generously covered by our funders, Wellcome. If your school is too far from Oxford we are happy to have presentations over video call.
